Take Over Fest

On the 5th August, Inkwell is holding a special event for Under 18s only! We’ve organised a mini festival- so that young people can have a taste of the summer festival experience, but in a safe, friendly environment, and for only £5!
It’s going to be a great night. We have 5 live bands, a DJ tent, food stalls, mocktails, a photo-booth, henna, face painting, and more. We’re lucky enough to have the help of 12 young volunteers from an NCS (National Citizen Service) group who are taking part in ‘The Challenge’ (a yearly programme to boost teens’ CVs). They’re going to help us fill Inkwell with colour and create an event like no other.
All of the money raised from ticket sales and sales on the night will go directly to Inkwell’s youth group, ‘Take Over Café‘. This group is for 12-17 year olds who may be experiencing difficulties with their mental health or know someone who is. The money will keep providing them with fun experiences, but also provide important workshops such as self-defence and first aid.
Like the youth group, the festival is FOR young people, RUN BY young people.
