Jazz on Saturdays
In collaboration with local jazz musicians and Seven Jazz we bring you monthly live Jazz on Saturday lunchtimes, playing foot tapping well known jazz tunes in our main gallery space. Our Saturday Cafe serves delicious homemade lunches until 3pm and afternoon tea and homemade cakes until 4pm.

In partnership with Seven Jazz
teaming up with Seven Jazz means Sunday afternoons at Inkwell are a great way to wind down your weekend. With top jazz musicians performing live in our art space, we serve great coffees and tasty simple meals during the sessions. Seven jazz is an independent voluntary music provider based in Chapel Allerton run by volunteers and music lovers.

£7/£5 concessions, under sixteen’s free.
The doors open at 1pm, music starts 1.30-4pm.

Drawing Hands are a Leeds-based quartet that performs original music inspired by 17th century counterpoint, traditional English folk and 21st century jazz. Led their primary composer and double-bassist Sam Jackson
Mike Cox’s “Senior Saxes”– Sunday 24th July

Al Wood, Bill Charleston, Mike Cox, Rob Mason (saxes), Andy Cholerton piano, Paul Chamberlain bass, Paul Smith drums.
Mike Cox’s musical associations go right back to playing with John Barry in the 1960’s. This band has a superb sax section, great rhythm section, swinging arrangements and a lot of fun!
August Seven Jazz “Jam-boree”!
Don’t get bored over August! Our seven jazz committee are bringing their bands to entertain you and each one will also have a jam session afterwards - you can perform all those summer school licks you learnt – or just come along and enjoy!
