Love Arts Conversation
Love Arts Conversation is a two day festival flavoured conference that wants to get you talking about mental health and creativity and is taking place on October 21st and October 22nd in Leeds City Centre forming an exciting part of this years Love Arts Festival.
The Conversation will be roaming around Leeds City Centre at a variety of major arts venues, and will be your chance to have your say and possibly hatch the next great arts and mental health project. We also want to unite to make the case for the use of creativity in mental health services and for general mental well-being.
We are excited about being part of the conversation happening in October and will be hosting our Digital cafe drop in on both days.
THE LOVE ARTS CONVERSATION is for everybody: artists, academics, mental health workers, arts organisations, carers, people who’ve used mental health services, commissioners, anyone with an interest in the issues. Whether you’re new to the notion of creativity, or a veteran, there’s something for everyone.
There will be structured conversations alongside creative presentations, performances, workshops, and films by artists and organisations that are doing great work already and want to spread the word. There will be plenty of opportunities to get inspired, be creative, and learn. This will be a vibrant and inspiring affair not to be missed. Come and be a part of the Conversation!
The 2 day event will cost £100 for 2 days/ £60 for 1 day – for ‘early birds’ (this includes all refreshments and lunch) This offer is available until 19th September 2014.
