Robert has been attending Inkwell for over two years and is one of our self directed artists. he is a man of many talents….as well as drawing and creating beautiful works of art Robert also writes novels. In fact, the beautiful cover for Going to OST his latest published piece was based on one of his illustrations.
“Leeds-based author Robert Meadley’s novel GOING TO OST began life in short form in NEW WORLDS, the mouthpiece of New Wave SF. After originally being scheduled for publication in 1987 the manuscript, which he thought he had decently interred in a skip years ago, will now be launched at a pop-up exhibition — the second of Meadley’s 3 WORKS ABOUT TIME — in an elegant ‘better-late-than-never’ Michael Butterworth edition.
“Meadley has an unusual, erudite and devious intelligence… I think few will fail to enjoy this book. Some might, with me, think it one of the best they’ve read. It could easily become a classic. If so, I will of course be proud to boast I wrote the introduction to the first edition. And you can boast you were among the first to read it.”
