Happy New Year!

It’s great to be back!
We hope everyone enjoyed the festive period and we wish everyone a Happy New Year!

Inkwell are pleased to be back open again this weekend and have several things on offer to get the New Year kick started. You can now view all upcoming events on our new Calender but here is a run down of what’s on this weekend……..

Saturday 4th is the return of our monthly Food Cycle evening where you can get a delicious home cooked two course meal for just £3. Help the environment by tackling the issue of food waste while also supporting people with mental health issues.

Food Cycle start serving at 7pm.



8pm on Saturday 4th January we will be hosting our poetry evening so why not enjoy a meal then wind down by listening to some inspirational poems. The monthly ‘Transforming with Poetry’ event aims to make a substantial difference in our lives and in society by exploring and enjoying poetry and is initiated by Poesia Indignada. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy!

Sunday 5th January is the Hair of the Dog Jazz cafe session at Inkwell. Was Christmas and New Year just too much? Then come along to the great Seven Jazz hangover cure the “hair of the dog” jam session. Blow your horn or sing the blues away in the company of others- music is the best cure of all! There will be a resident trio for those who need one – Declan Forde on piano, Steve Crocker bass and John Settle drums

We will be serving coffees, teas and lunch. Families are welcome. So why not enjoy a meal while you listen to the music?

The hair of the dog jam session is on Sunday January 5th 2013, 1-4pm
£7/£5 concessions (concessions includes performers and unwaged) kids under 16 free.
The doors open at 1pm, music 1.30-4pm


Our art and ceramic classes will return to normal next week. Craft cafe will also re-open on Thursday 9th January at the new time of 2pm while Saturday 11th January will be the first Saturday Cafe of 2014. We hope 2014 will be a fabulous year for us all and look forward to seeing you all soon.
