We’d like to share with you a quick update from our service.
Inkwell has not been open as a café since the first national lockdown in March. Due to the impact of COVID-19, we have been hosting the Inkwell activities online via the website with a mix of interactive and pre-recorded workshops and events.
In line with this development in our offering, our Community Arts Coordinator and Community Arts and Catering Worker have been busy delivering workshops across Leeds and at Inkwell. These new roles are allowing us to continue to deliver fantastic wellbeing activities to a wider range of people. You can find out what we are currently offering/delivering here. The other staff in the team remain in the same role or are working in other roles within Leeds Mind.
For now, the Inkwell building will remain closed, and our building will no longer operate on an open door policy. This means that our café will not be open to the public on week days, but any service users who attend workshops will be able to continue to make use of our café service. We will provide an update when we know more about restrictions lifting at the end of June 2021.
